RPRA Strengthens Cooperation with International PR Associations
The RPRA Working Group on International Cooperation, coordinated by Andrei Andreev, is actively strengthening ties with professional associations in Russia's key economic partner nations. The group recently held a meeting with the leadership of the Azerbaijan Public Relations Specialists Association (APRA).
Representing APRA at the meeting was Vali Alibayov, Secretary General of the association. From RPRA, participants included Oleg Poletaev, First Vice President, and Andrei Andreev, Coordinator of the International Cooperation Working Group.
The discussion focused on:
Key priorities for collaboration between RPRA and APRA, including educational initiatives and professional development programs.
Enhancing engagement between PR professionals from both countries on business projects implemented by Russian and Azerbaijani companies.
Increasing the participation of experts from both associations in key PR forums in Russia and Azerbaijan.
"We are keen on expanding our international cooperation. We are in constant contact with the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) and representatives from PR associations in Turkey and Central Asia, and we are certainly open to broadening our engagement with colleagues from Russia," said Vali Alibayov.
"RPRA is committed to strengthening partnerships and maintaining a continuous professional dialogue with PR associations in the CIS, EAEU, and BRICS countries where Russian companies are active," commented RPRA First Vice President Oleg Poletaev. "A regular exchange of experience and best practices, along with a joint analysis of communication and social trends, is vital for us. This lays the groundwork for effective cooperation on business projects. We are pleased to resume the dialogue with Azerbaijan's PR community that was interrupted by the pandemic and look forward to strengthening our business contacts in 2025."
To finalize the details of their collaboration, Oleg Poletaev and Vali Alibayov will hold a meeting in Baku in the near future. Mr. Alibayev was also formally invited to participate in "PR Days 2024" in Moscow on November 22.
"International cooperation between public relations associations fosters the exchange of experience and the development of professional skills. We are confident that the partnership between RPRA and APRA will be a significant step toward advancing the professional sphere in our countries," noted Andrei Andreev.
